Mary Mees, LAc, DAOM
(Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine)
Why should you choose working with a DAOM (Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) versus someone who is just a L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist)? A Licensed Acupuncturist who has completed and received a DAOM degree has earned a dual-specialization in Internal Medicine & Physical Medicine. The dual-specialty approach focuses on key areas of modern healthcare while implementing cutting-edge best practices grounded in tradition.
In short, practitioners of Oriental medicine who earn their DAOM are equipped with the advanced clinical and professional skills they need to expertly address the needs of today’s diverse patient population.
Dr. Mees earned The Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine which offered her the opportunity to develop her skills as a practitioner by teaching her the professional skills necessary to build and expand her clinical practice.
